The Taylor Sportsplex is the Downriver region’s top indoor athletic complex.
The location of the Sportsplex on Telegraph and Northline Roads, makes it an ideal location for any event and quickly accessible from major freeways, Detroit Metropolitan Airport, Detroit, Ohio and even Canada.
The Sportsplex is made up of four arenas surrounding a huge, fan-friendly atrium, concessions, pro shop facilities and meeting rooms of varying sizes, including large multi-purpose and viewing rooms on the second-floor.
There are two North American-size hockey/ice skating rinks, including Belle Tire Arena, home of one of America’s finest youth travel hockey programs. The Sportsplex is also home of Dearborn Divine Child High School hockey.
The ice surfaces, soccer fields and location of the facility are so highly thought of that the Detroit Red Wings and other National Hockey League (NHL) teams use the Sportsplex as a "home-away-from-home" practice complex.
The ice arenas are flanked by two others dedicated (for the most part) to indoor soccer, roller hockey, and volleyball. One arena has a sport court flooring with boards; the other has an open-field concept. All four arenas are used for multiple purposes, both sports (lacrosse, mixed martial arts (MMA), inline hockey, Taekwondo, etc.) and otherwise (graduation ceremonies, cat and comic book shows, etc).
